14 Four Cafe, Taytay Rizal

The details in this quaint corner reminded me of the iconic Abad art in Batanes.

When I first laid eyes on 14 Four Cafe I immediately knew I wanted to go there. L’Indochine‘s photoshoot with Anina Rubio piqued my interest as the image popped up on Instagram. The tribal black and white pain and open space had me lusting. Unfortunately, I did not check the hours of operation and went on a closed day. Sad for me. Graciously, the manager let me look around and snap a few photos. All I can say is I will be going back and I have no idea about the food. If you have been I would love to hear your thoughts.

It was the black and white tribal painting that pulled at me to come for a visit.

I love the enclaves of green hidden behind cement fences here. Look at all that lush green.

The design details were endless. A funky lighting piece, a small bistro, natural branch coat rack and a sweet cowbell did me in.

Obviously, there is ample seating space but they do not skimp on the aesthetics. dsc09361dsc09376dsc09375dsc09379

These lanterns and lights were dreamy.

I would have walked right by this old chap but my friend noticed him.

Even the water drain is cheeky and executed with funky fresh design.

Now, to go back on a day when it is open!
