Things To Do: Ninoy Aquino Wildlife Nature Reserve

I read an article about Americans and pork belly. "Get over your fear of pork belly and just try it!" I took that advice and now thoroughly enjoy pork belly. It's giant bacon. Who doesn't love bacon? I try and apply the same principle to my life here as an expat. So, all you Makati/Fort expats, get over your fear of leaving your bubble and just try it! Head up to the great QC (Quezon City ;). You won't regret it.

Enough rambling. Just off EDSA near  EDSA SM NORTH and Trinoma there is a giant green area! There is a zoo lagoon and on some Saturdays and Sundays fresh produce from Baguio. It only costs 8php per person and you will get your moneys worth. Don't expect anything prestine but it's a nice pick me up.
