Nov 13 Cafe By The Ruins Dua, Baguio

My limited vocabulary and writing capabilities limit how divine my experiences were at Cafe By The Ruins Dua. I had seen photos on IG and wasn't able to stop by the last few trips to Baguio. I made up for the lost time this trip. Cafe By The Ruins Dua atmosphere is just as pleasing at is flavorful. The bright windows, natural colors and upstairs seating offers openness begging you to stay and enjoy yourself. Also lending to the open atmosphere is the kitchen and bread making station. My kids sat and watched the makers create loaves and loaves of what is quite possibly the best pandesal and camote bread in all The Philippines. I know, I am making a declaration. Pandesal is 8 php while the camote bread is around 80php, I believe. Beyond the bread, all items compare with hearty flavor. I highly recommend the suman and tsokolate - oh my! Price was around 100-200 php.

Cafe By The Ruins Dua is very near Camp John Hay, a five minute drive at most. It is very child friendly. You can place orders for fresh bread to pick up the next day which I cannot recommend enough. They open early so if you have young early risers like me, don't feel enslaved to your hotel. Venture up to Cafe By The Ruins.
