Burrow With Kids, A Revisit To Burrow Cafe Antipolo

Antipolo, you are the city I have blogged about more than any other place in Manila and I will not stop proclaiming my love for you. I love you when I explore alone, with friends and especially with my kids. I frequent The Burrow often alone to write and get work done but this particular morning last October I got to experience the wonder through my children’s sweet faces and it was the best. (my children are not always sweet so this day was a nice reminder that they aren’t always monsters as well. ha!)

The Burrow With Kids|

An adult might see hammocks and think, “pure relaxation.” A child sees hammocks and thinks, “Chaos!” The hammocks at The Burrow really are a highlight for the kids. You can absolutely tell this restaurant is owned by a family with small children.

smiles all around!

and…. cue the kicking and fighting but at least there are still smiles!

in case the hammocks wear you out

the menu has changed now but my consistent order was the soy salmon - sarap!

picolo popsicles for the boys please

shoes off, windows open, jungle in the background, river below - pretty great childhood if you ask me

Down To The River|

We decided to do a little river clean up after our food at the Burrow. If I am being completely honest it didn’t last long because me with three boys and river isn’t the strongest combination. I hope you go and I hope you clean up more trash than we did.

salamat kuya for the help!

Welp, Antipolo it is safe to say you still hold my heart especially with all these new marvelous establishments popping up. I feel so grateful I get to experience motherhood right here right now.

Love You Forever Manila,

Amber
