Eggs For Breakfast, An Antipolo Hidden Gem
I love Instagram because it is an instant TripAdvisor. Whenever I am heading to a new neighborhood or have the itch to explore I can ask my community and get a locals recommendations, nothing beats that! My love for Antipolo knows no bounds and my community knows this so many times people have suggested Eggs For Breakfast. Last month I had a morning to spend in Antipolo and finally got to enjoy a slow morning outside eating and writing in the cool Antiplo air.
Something I love about Manila is that so many restaurants are family owned and often located on the family property. I appreciate that it brings me one step closer to knowing the creator and inspiration behind the experience, this brings magic to whatever it is you are enjoying! Eggs For Breakfast is no different. It is located on a families property in Antipolo that doubles as a wedding event venue.
Per my request all the locals recommend it because of the beautiful landscape but also because it represents their home and city. I sat on the porch and overlooked a large grass lawn where I imagine my #3PinoyBoys running and having fun. It really is a beautiful place and helps you escape from the city, even if just for a morning.
I ordered the Eggs Benedict and they were really yummy. My only wish is that the food was warmer when it was served, it was at room temperature when I received it but still delicious! The crepes are also like a dessert and would be a fun indulgence.
My views while writing. I love you Antipolo!
Don’t let Manila get you down, take a morning to unwind and enjoy the fresh air of Antipolo at Eggs For Breakfast. I don’t think the restaurant requires a special trip but if you can add a museum visit or another activity in Antipolo you are good to go. You can find my Antipolo favorites here.
