Mabuhay Empowering Perspectives!

Hi. Hello. Greetings.

Pinch me. Is this happening? Yes, yes it is. Aurora and I have opened the first chapter of the global community, Empowering Perspectives, right here in Manila. This September 17 (with venue partner, WeWork Uptown BGC!) will be our first gathering and I can’t wait to tell you about it. (pssst you can sign up here)

New Beginnings|

The best takeaway from the Families In Global Transition Conference was meeting Laura the Lawyer. Like many of us accompanying partners/spouses, Laura had a previous career as a lawyer until life took her overseas. She did not let her transient lifestyle get in the way of personal and professional development, she reinvented herself using the skills she already had to pivot from a place of empowerment and became a Career Strategist. Seeing the need to support other women like herself, not just expats, but any woman transitioning from one stage of life to the next, she surrounded herself with like minded partners and they created, Empowering Perspectives

EP is a global community and is now taking place in 6 countries and more to launch this year. This September 17 Manila will have it’s first ever Empowering Perspectives and we are beyond kilig!

How It Works|

EP supports women who have relocated to a new city or country, are transitioning careers or reentering the work force.

EP fosters a community of personal and professional development by:

  • FREE monthly meetings.

  • In person meetings. The EP ethics uphold that community gatherings are in person, not online.

  • Inspiring and uplifting resource speakers. Each month will have a new guest speaker.

  • Q&A follows each resource speaker so attendees also learn and grow from one another.

  • Monthly focus words. Each month has a focus word that builds on to the next so at the end of the year EP community members have a tool kit.

  • Limited to 20 attendees. EP community gatherings are limited 20 attendees to foster conversation and new learnings.

  • Meetings are only one hour to be inclusive of different life situations.

  • Online registration and updates. While gatherings are in-person, registration is done online for organization purposes. Updates and community information will be sent via email. Many resources will be shared through these updates as well.

See You There|

So, if you are a female who has relocated to a new city or country, is transitioning careers or reentering the work force this is the place for you. This is a completely free service but you must register and RSVP to me. We hope to see you on September 17 at our partner venue WeWork Uptown Bonifacio. Can’t wait to meet you.
