I appreciate Manila. She has everything! You want markets, she's got them. You want international brands, she's got them. You want international food, she's got it. You want fun for family and kid's, she got it. You want Filipino heritage and culture, it's here. Manila has culture, you just need to look for it. I was privileged to attend the Ballet Manila and felt so refined after watching this beautiful masterpiece. You need to attend at least one ballet while in Manila, it will not disappoint. I left appreciating the arts and this city after viewing Ballet Manila's The Swan, The Princess, & The Fairy. The theater was very nice and spacious. The live symphony sat up front and was lead by an international conductor, Maestro Alexander Vikulov of the Mariinsky Theater. Live accompaniment is always so enjoyable. The temperature was nice because it was a little chilly so pretend that it is fall weather and wear a long sleeve.

The show featured excerpts from three of the master composer’s most celebrated works, namely Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, and The Sleeping Beauty.

"Joining these masters are some of Ballet Manila’s strongest Vaganova Academy style-trained danseurs and ballerinas, including Abigail Oliveiro who will dance  the role of Odette, Dawna Mangahas who is playing the role of the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker, and Katherine Barkman who will dance as the well-loved princess Aurora." The show was brilliant and I highly recommend this as a family night, date night or ladies night out. Since we are in very family friendly culture inside the theater had the same feel, families welcome. So, bring the kids and be enriched.
