Workshop Time: At Home In Manila, At Home With Yourself
Two weeks ago I had the lovely opportunity of hosting my first ever workshop, #PerksOfPinas Workshop and it was MARVELOUS. I’ll share more about the workshop in a few days but wanted to let you all know I have another one this November 13 at Menarco Tower BGC titled, At Home In Manila, At Home With Yourself.
At Home In Manila, At Home With Yourself Workshop is writing focused and will help anyone feel settled in their city. This can be for those of you who have lived here your whole lives or are just a few weeks, years or months in.
How is this workshop different than #PerksOfPinas? For starters, I have a new partner for this workshop and it is writing focused. It will also be in BGC as opposed to Makati. (But don’t worry, #PerksOfPinas Workshop will continue with Kimi Lu.) I have teamed up with editor-turned-life coach Aurora M. Suarez. I have shared about Your Sunday Night Journal a number of times and Aurora is the genius behind that helpmate. Everyone should buy a copy! I bought 5 copies and handed them out as pasalubong when I was in America this summer. I also recently took her online class, Craft A Life Vision, and it was transformative. In fact, it was that online class that got my wheels turning to launch workshops, go back to school and a few other really exciting endeavors I am pursuing.
Aurora has a gift to guide and help others unlock their potential through her words and guided writing. After finishing her online workshop I knew I wanted to team up with her and bring others a workshop that combines both our flavors.
At Home In Manila, At Home With Yourself Workshop is writing focused but will have a fun city walk mixed in as well. Plus, new friends, goodies and a new perspective. Here’s what we have to say about it.
It has been a joy writing this blog and I have found even more joy in face to face contact. These workshops have really been a dream for me as I get to meet real people in real life, human connection is so beautiful.
